Goodbye Wimborne People Website

For the last two and half years I have been community publisher for the Wimborne People website, but now alas I am moving on to pastures new and someone else will be taking over the mantle and keeping you updated with the issues that matter to the wonderful people of our lovely town.

It's been a privilege to bring you news, discuss local issues and even sometimes argue different points of view when we might not have seen eye to eye on things. I have loved every minute of it and I admit I am sad to say goodbye.

I won't be leaving the area - that would be a very unlikely event indeed, as I love the place too much – I'm just taking more time to concentrate on my own writing, as my career continues to flourish. I will still be around in the flesh, just not in cyber space…although I might just pop back now and again if an issue I feel really passionate about appears on the site.

I'm sure you'll keep commenting on articles and galleries, adding your own when you have something you want to say or show, as you have done throughout my tenure as community publisher.

One thing I know for sure we certainly live in by far the best town, not only in the county, but also in the country.
