A New Children’s Clothes Store Opens In Wimborne
The shop is the first owned by Rhiann and Ivan Miteusla who have both previously worked in retail. "Our decision to focus on children's wear was based on the lack of choice in Wimborne and surrounding areas for 'not on the high street' clothing. We felt there was an obvious gap in the market and wanted to start up our own business," says Rhiann. "Having young children ourselves we have an understanding of what works well for parents and what they're looking for in children's clothes, ie quality, wear ability, durability, and of course affordability, but also something different."
The items they stock include handmade products and organic cotton, with some items handmade by just one person, with sizes ranging from 0 to eleven years. Their new Spring/Summer range is due to arrive shortly, "We take everyone's feedback on board regarding sizing, brands and style and welcome it. With our customers input we can create the shop they want to see for their kids and hopefully be here for years to come."
Asked about the Square revamp Rhiann replied, "A recession is a hard time for anyone to be trading and the enhancement scheme does put extra pressure on existing and fledgling business. However, on the whole if the community needs your business you'll be ok and once the enhancement is finished, hopefully, Wimborne will become THE place for shopping and relaxation."
Mila & Milo is open from 9.30am – 5pm Monday to Saturday.

ReportThanks for this. I have always bemoaned the lack of kids clothes shops in the town and wasn't aware of Mila and Milo so will check it out.
Also glad to hear someone being positive about the square's enhancement!
