The Top Recommended Home Improvement Places In Wimborne Part 1

Here is the first part of my list of the best home improvement places in and around Wimborne. I have personally used all of these services and can vouch for them.

Dorset Soils & Aggregates can be found at Unit 4 Cobham Road, Ferndown Industrial Estate and they do everything from stone paving, sleepers, decorative gravel and water features. They are an extremely professional outfit and are free with their advice, talking you through their large choice of options to find you exactly what you want. And they really know their stuff too.

I told them what I wanted, some lovely Scottish pebbles, gave them the measurements for the area where the pebbles were to go and they told me how much I needed. I was a little unsure, as I didn't want to be left with pebbles I didn't need, but I went with what they said. I was amazed, as the amount they told me was exactly the right amount to fit the area I wanted it to. Spot on.

Brookside Garden Services operate out of West Moors and I'm really pleased with the job they did. I had previously tried to grow my back lawn from seed and after two years it still had bare patches. I called Ian in and have never regretted it. Ian stripped the old lawn in about an hour and then came back the next day to lay the topsoil and my new turf.

Ian gave me instructions on how to look after the new turf and I followed them to the letter. Nearly two months later I have the perfect lawn I always wanted, with no gaps. I couldn't be happier.
