Wimborne Food Festival

Wimborne Food Festival is something to savour, something to make you want only a small breakfast in preparation for.  But mainly it's a wonderful event that is totally free and open to all.

Spread around the town, you will find tutored tasting, workshops and demonstrations by the likes of Andrew David & Honeybrook Farm Cookery Theatre. Local businesses will be providing food and drinks tasting and local farms will be offering tours giving us a chance to see where our foods are produced.

Wimborne Minster green and Willow Walk next to Waitrose will be hosting the venues for the two Food Market Tents, where you will have the chance to taste and buy delicious local products.  Also the International Street Market will be visiting to add a mediterranean touch. There will also be an arts and crafts area selling food inspired wares.

Getting the children involved is easy as there are fun food sessions running all day such as Tops Fun Food Factory, and Kids Kitchen. There will be free facepainting, arts and crafts, baby sensory sessions, and entertainment by the master magician Jamie Jigsaw.

The town is set to be a bustling hive of entertainment with Live Music, Circus Workshops, Rural Skills even a Vintage Fun Fair.

The Wimborne Wine Society will be pulling a few corks for wine tasting and holding  talks on which wines complement the foods being prepared by the chef demonstrations.
