Wimborne crash victim's family ask for prayers

The family of an 18-year-old woman who was injured in a car accident near Wimborne have spoken to the media.

Jade Hutchings was one of four people in a Volkswagen Polo that crashed on Salisbury Street, Cranborne late on Saturday (22nd September 2012) evening. She was taken to Southampton General Hospital where she remains with life-threatening injuries.

Jade's parents said: "We would like everyone to pray for our loving daughter. Our family and her friends are by her bedside.

"We would like to thank everyone who has sent their kind wishes. They will all be passed on. We ask to have our privacy respected in this difficult time."

Jade is a full-time student at Bournemouth and Poole College where she has just started her second year.
