Whoever the winner is, I feel that we should all get behind Chris Brown: an incredibly public spirited man, whose contribution to the culture of WImborne is always of value. I can't wait until we have the traditional welcome for the Christmas tree, a victory for common sense. All hail Chris Brown!

Blimey ! I didn't even realise they had competitions !

...and don't forget that the Dorset Town Criers Competition will be held on the 24th October 2010 on the High Street. Chris is hosting as he won last year's event. The competition coincides with the Wimborne Food Festival so come along grab a bite to eat and enjoy all the noise and eccentricity.
