Take one historic market town, combine with an enviable food culture, mix in passionate local chefs, producers and an array of exciting attractions and what do you get – Feast at The Paddock food festival in Wimborne.
Organised by Best of Festival, the food festival will take place on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 March between 10am and 6pm and there will be a range of exhibitors, cookery demonstrations as well as a range of children’s entertainment.
There will be a variety of exhibitors showcasing a range of food and drink products, craft, home and garden wares as well as a host of local chefs, including the head chef at The Pig in the New Forest, James Golding, demonstrating culinary skills.
Other festival attractions include a special guest appearance from Katsuma and Poppet of the popular virtual pet monsters website Moshi Monsters on Saturday 23 March as well as face painting and balloon modelling.
Chris Barratt, Best of Festival organiser, says: “For a celebration of food and drink, people need look no further Feast at The Paddock.
“The experience of this food festival is one not to be missed – our food festivals are outpourings of flavours, colours and smells. Visitors will find a multitude of different stalls and activities, but the star attraction will be the selection of produce on offer. Fresh from the farm or kitchen, often hand-made or artisan crafted, visitors will have the chance to taste and buy some of the best food and drink Dorset has to offer.”
