Forest FM has joined wimbornepeople following an invitation from WimborneLucy. Forest FM is East Dorset's first community radio station. We started up on July 9th 2006 so we are just over 3 years old. We are a not for profit radio station run by local volunteers from Wimborne and Corfe Mullen to Verwood and Ringwood. Although reception is not brilliant in Wimborne itself we come in loud and clear at Furzehill and Corfe Mullen on 92.3 FM. However - you can listen online from anywhere on www.forestfm.co.uk
We will support and promote, free of charge, any Wimborne event or good cause. Charlie North Lewis from the Tivoli theatre can be heard most weeks on Forest FM giving a rundown of what's on at the Tivoli.
Wimborne Town Crier - Chris Brown - presents a weekly reggae programme on Forest FM every Saturday night from 10PM to midnight. I bet you didn't expect that ! It's really good !
Email us to get free publicity on the radio ! vwradio@aol.com or studio@forestfm.co.uk

ReportHaving re read that comment I think I should launch a competition to see who can mention the same one word the most times in a single comment!
