Have you registered to vote in the General Election 2010?

Obviously you need to be on the Electoral Register to vote in UK Elections. This is not automatic, you are responsible for supplying and renewing your details annually. Once registered you will be eligible to vote in various elections including local and general.
Any British, Irish, Commonwealth or European Union citizen over the age of 16 can register (although voting is not possible until the age of 18). For information regarding your eligibility to vote and the election dates follow the links below:

What's stopping you? Are you all registered? I'd love to hear from people who are not and their reasons why? Has the MP expenses scandal or the economic downturn led to voter apathy?
