Preparations are
nearly complete for one of our main celebratory events of the year.
On Wednesday and
Thursday, 6th and 7th, April at the Layard Theatre, Canford School,
present pupils will be joining with past pupils to acknowledge the
part music has played in the life of the school since 1971.
Performances start at 7:30pm.
A number of past
pupils who have continued to make music their profession, will be
performing alongside our Choir, Crooners, and Dancers. We will also
be re-visiting a number of items from some of our most recent shows.
It promises to be an entertaining evening covering a wide variety of
music genres.
In addition to
the musical items there will be a chance to meet old friends over a
drink after the performance and there will be some photo memories of
the school’s past, during the show and on display in the foyer.
There is also to
be a raffle for an exclusively pupil designed commemorative pendant
necklace. Tickets for the raffle will be on sale at the performances.
Tickets for the
concerts, at £5 each, are on sale from the St Michael’s School
Office.
