A very sweet, if slightly small local garden centre with a good selection of plants, shrubs, pot, etc. Although you won't find anything slightly obscure here you will find the usual stuff at very competitive prices. As with smaller places like this you also find the service and advice of a more personal nature than the bigger garden centres.

Potter
I love a good potter around a garden centre, especially on a Sunday morning, and Beecroft is one of my favourites. As with most nurseries you can buy the usual stuff, but what I think makes this place stand out is the helpful, knowledgable staff who are more than happy to help you find exactly the right plants, pots and compost for your garden and house. My only criticism; there are not enough car park spaces, but that's not a huge one.
