You would have hardly noticed a change of ownership the quality and service has been so consistant. A much better place to buy your fruit and veg than some supermarket in town, because you get better quality and a better price. Keep it local and keep it independent!

Nice shop and I go there regularly every week. I was a little concerned that the service and atmosphere would deteriorate when the last owners left but not so the new owners have taken up the reins well, retained the quality and many of the staff so status quo. Support them supermarket fruit and veg is all processed dictated by the masses to be cheap and all exctly the same shape size and very boring. Go local by a bent carrot once in a while a lettuce that is not a rubbiish iceburg and a potato with dirt on it as it was only dug this morning. Use it or lose it don't let Waitrose and the Co-Op push yet another business out fight back buy local from the little man he supports his family not his shareholders.
A fabulous local shop run by a lovely couple. The fruit and veg are always of superb quality and the prices cheaper than Waitrose. And now you don't have to worry about making a special journey into town to buy from Wimborne Greens, as you can order through the Wimborne Direct website and have all your fruit and veg delivered.

Having changed hands just recently I'm glad to see the quality of fruit and veg on offer hasn't dropped, indeed if anything it has improved. It's great to see an independent business in Wimborne doing so well. Keep up the good work.

This traditional local greengrocer in Wimborne sells some of the finest local fruit and vegetables. Minster Greens on the High Street provides an extensive range with a varied selection of locally sourced dairy products including fresh milk, eggs, butter and cheese. Not to mention delicious fresh bread to boot.

Minster Greens was always going to give Waitrose a run for its money on the veg side of it's business. You can't beat fresh vegetables served with a fun, friendly and happy smile, something Waitrose's stale service can never hope to emulate. Minster Greens is the shop I feel defines Wimborne's unique shopping experience.

ReportThese people love a good natter and a good laugh while they serve you, and it's a genuine pleasure to shop here. The local alternative to Waitrose, their vegetable selection is wide and varied, and the goods are always fresh. It's always better to be able to choose your own fruit and veg than have to settle with prepackaged stuff. Surely shopping should not be this much fun?
