I'm not a lover of all these electronic toys children get now days, so when hunting for Christmas presents for my grandchildren I popped in to have a look at their range of wooden toys. It's good to see good old fashioned made to last toys that fire the imagination and not turn you into a vegetable are still being made and sold. A lovely shop.

Don't let the small look of this shop put you off inside It's like an Aladdin's cave of classic toy goodies! Also one of the only places outside of Bournemouth and Poole town centres to sell the Games workshop Warhammer range :)

This cosy little toy shop in Wimborne is situated alongside the beautiful riverside on Mill Lane. The conveniently titled Riverside Toys offers an excellent range of toys for children and games such as Warhammer for the older generation. In addition, at Riverside Toys you’ll find classic toys, games and beach toys.

Toys To Last
A true diamond of a shop. You can't help but wonder and fall in love when you enter this shop, it really is THAT good. You're children will love the toys in this store and they will get hours and hours of play time from them. It's so good I really wouldn't be surprised to see elves and Father Christmas working out the back. The prices are great and I really can't recommend this place enough for all your children's birthday and Christmas needs.

Childhood Memeories
I love this shop, it's got some great toys, you know the stuff, toys we had as children that fired our imaginations and got us out of the house. If you want modern electronic stuff go to ToysRUs, but if you want toys that your children are actually going to have fun playing with again and again then this is the place to go. And I've even seen wooden toys in there, yes...wooden toys. No batteries required. Fantastic.
