Two home games in five days saw Wimborne Town emerge with only a single point as they adjust to life in the Zamaretto One South &West.
The Magpies were under the cosh for much their clash with Paulton Rovers last Tuesday. But a James Stokoe effort in the 89th minute saw them rescue a 1-1 draw.
On Saturday Wimborne paid the price for missed chances as they went down 3-0 to visitors Yate Town. Stoke had the Magpies best chance of the game, but saw his header crash off the post.
Meanwhile, Wimborne have a busy August Bank Holiday weekend on the road. On Saturday they commence their FA Cup campaign with a trip to Bideford. Then on Monday afternoon they return to Zamaretto League action with a visit to AFC Totton.
